Frequently asked questions
Is merging PDFs really free?
Yes. There are no fees, no sign-up and no watermarks, regardless of the number or size of files. The site is supported by ads.
Are my files safe?
Your files are never sent to a server. Everything runs inside your browser, so your documents are not stored or shared anywhere.
How many files can I merge?
There is no fixed limit. Processing uses your browser’s memory, so for extremely large files (hundreds of MB) a computer is recommended.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Yes. Enter the password when you add the file. The merged file is not encrypted; use “Protect PDF” if you want to add a password again.
